Soccer Anatomy is Amazing!
By Sean R.
I have been playing soccer for about the past 20 years and have been sustaining more injuries than normal lately. I decided to give this book a try and it is amazing. Dr. Kirkendall has put together a comprehensive guide to strength training and injury prevention, and displays it with such detailed artwork and description. This book incorporates the physics, biochemistry, and anatomy behind the soccer, but explains them in ways that anyone can understand. I will be using Dr. Kirkendall's techniques and excersizes not only as a player, but as a coach too. I would recommend this book to everyone, especially if you want to increase the longevity of your game!

Unequaled resource for veteran or youth players
By Soccer Dad
Soccer anatomy provides an amazing array of conditioning exercises to minimize potential injuries and ensure players are prepared in top physical form. The science and explanations behind each section is unparalleled. My son especially valued the illustrations showing the impacted muscle groups and their importance/application on the field. A must read for any soccer family or veteran players.

nice, but disappointing
By neal
If you already have a solid background in the sport and kinesiology then this book wouldnt help you much, but if you are lacking one or the other then it could be beneficial. Great pictures... well laid out.. one of the few book I did not sell back after getting it.
