A Complete Training Program for Success
By Sport Book Reviewer
(review written by Rusty Burney, Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Iowa)
I have seen firsthand the amount of research and effort that goes in to Coach Ivey and Coach Stoner's programs. Combining these cutting-edge programs with the mental conditioning and nutritional resources outlined in the book can only mean one thing for your program - RESULTS!
This book outlines a training philosophy that is unshakable in its approach to coaching and interacting with your players. You will learn why a proper team training setting is vital to team success. You will learn the how and why behind the 'PR Paradigm' and the 'Multi-Level System' of training, two vital components to any program. Along the way, you will be shown how to progress your players from an introductory level (Level 0) to an advanced level (Level 4 or 5) that encompasses all the variable qualities of strength and power that are needed to dominate your position on the football field. When combined with the position specific speed/agility/quickness and energy system programs detailed in the book, you have a complete training program for success that leaves no stone unturned.
I recommend that anyone involved with coaching and player development on any level get a copy of this book for their library today!

By tallguy85
One of the most complete books on strength and conditioning you will find. From learning the tier system to the APRE,(which has been shown, through research, to be superior to linear periodization) no stone is left unturned. This book will expand your knowledge and serves as a great resource. I highly recommend.
