excellent book for all climbing skill levels

I have been rock climbing for over ten years and I got this book because a friend refered it to me. I was at first hesitant to buy it, but I did and it has some really good information even for advanced climbers (of course you must be open to it, if not, then this book will seem like a waste of money). it can also stand as a reference for any climber. It works really well for me as I take people who have never been out climbing or are just beginning. I have them read it before we go and it has helped me in getting beginners ready to climb. I would recommend this book to all climbers except professional climbers who do it for a living.

I would consider adopting this book for my class for introductory students. I would consider this the encyclopedia of rock climbing and Mountaineering: Freedom of the Hills the bible.
